WEB-CASTS at HEINEKEN UNIVERSITY

Web-casts are presentations that are broadcasted through the Internet. These web-casts are often used for informing broad audiences such as shareholders, press, etc.

Heineken University is one of the very first providers who apply interactivity to the web-cast system and make it available for on-line learning.

Participants to the web-cast session can intervene in the presentation by using a small text-window in the web-cast application on their own PC.

No software needs to be installed, only a good internet connection is required and Windows Mediaplayer version 9.0 or higher (Standard on most Windows computers)

In March 2009 we have added a few very interesting  webcasts on Brewing to our Web-cast library
These are:

-What is World Class Brewing
-Knowledge Management in Brewing
-SHE @ Heineken
-Hygiene

You can see the Webcast Menu with the last stored Web-casts HERE

In January 2009 we have provided web-casts on World Class Packaging
Heineken University made a selection of interesting topics in the World Class Packaging that could be beneficial for a broad group of colleagues.

If you want to see one of those webcasts, you can register for the topics (send an email with your name, location and job title to heinekenuniversityzoeterwoude@Heineken.nl)

These are the topics available now:

The story of glass for bottles
The story of metal material in packaging
The story of plastic material in packaging
The story of paper based material in packaging
Packaging Integrity, Process Standards and Sales Quality
Material Standards and Supplier Governance
Cost drivers in packaging: Material awareness (cost/unit, global costs of materials etc.) and material losses

Duration of each web-cast is 1 – 1.5 hour
The WEB-CASTS were broadcasted LIVE through Internet. During the LIVE version, participants could ask questions to the presenter through the interaction window. In the ON-DEMAND version, your question will be forwarded to the mail-box of the presenter.
All presentations are now available on demand, and can be viewed as many times and whenever you want.
